Decoding the Marketplace Review
This review is by Gladys Nakote, as posted on Goodreads
Decoding the Marketplace by Alan Louis is a great book to read in the Business and Money genre which describes the functioning of the modern marketplace in a manner that can be perceived as sincere and simple. The author simplifies complex topics and splits them into simple ideas every reader can grasp without losing track.
The author addresses the role of monetary economy, debts and financial regulations in influencing our everyday business and personal decisions. It also defines the way these systems affect individuals and countries; this challenges readers to be more thoughtful and responsible and make more intelligent financial choices.
The author uses a clean font type that is easy to read as well as the font size and layout of each page; this ensures long hours reading without being stressed. The description is adequate without being overly long or too brief. The perspective used is suitable and it is straightforward and credible as well. The concepts given are realistic with real life examples and this makes every idea practical.
From my point of view, the experience of reading is adequate and the book achieves its purpose and it does not make the readers feel it was misleading. There is a continuity in each chapter of the book consequently ensuring one is not bored throughout.
When it comes to the target audience, this book will be appealing to the adult population, particularly the working population, entrepreneurs, and those who desire to have a better knowledge on the topic of money and financial systems. It's also easy to understand and thus can be easily adapted to the young adult who is familiar with business subjects.
It is possible to state that Decoding the Marketplace is a well written and simple to read book that allows comprehending money, business systems, and personal responsibility in a much better manner. It is relevant in addition to being articulate, brief and engaging to a broad audience. I highly recommend giving it a read.
